Rev. JaeHee Lee, Pastor

Pastor JaeHee Lee grew up in Seoul, South Korea and attended Methodist Theological seminary. Graduating with M. Div. degree in 2003, she started 3 years’ ordination process as an associate Pastor in the Korean Methodist Church. During her first year, she received God’s call to serve in the United States for the revival of the church, and resigned her ministry. Following God’s guidance, she came over to Dubuque, Iowa to study at Wartburg Lutheran Seminary in 2008. After two years’ study at Wartburg, she was transferred to St. Paul School of Theology. Graduating with another M. Div. degree in 2013, she began her full time ministry at St. Paul’s UMC in Waterloo, IA. She was ordained as an elder in 2017, served at Woodward UMC from 2017 to 2021, and joined Eldridge congregation as their new Pastor in July, 2021. Out of a deep love and respect for the Holy Bible, she has a passion to proclaim the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit to transform hearts and lives of believers as well as her own. She loves to reach out to people in the community to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and help them to grow in their personal relationship with Him. She has a special desire and burden for intercessory prayer for peoples and nations that she believes God put in her heart. She has two grown sons, Ji Hwang and Lee Whang in Seoul, South Korea.
